First Lease was originally set up in 1999 and its remarkably rapid development brought it to the position of top player on the Ukrainian Operational Leasing market. With a fleet totaling 1,990 vehicles at the end of 2005, its market share exceeds 40%.

BA-CA Leasing has established a subsidiary in Ukraine in summer 2006. In a next step HVB Bank Ukraine will take over a minority stake in this company of up to 9.9% and a capital injection from shareholders of 1 ml.
